Mobile crane training and certification are required by state laws nationwide. By law, OSHA has standards and regulations set for safety. The law was published in the Federal Register on August 9, 2010, and took effect November 8, 2010. Mobile crane operators had 4 years to comply with this ruling. Which took place November 10, 2014.
The ruling applies to operators using a mobile crane on a construction site. CFR1926.1427 cranes and derricks in construction. Crane operators using mobile cranes that have 2000 lbs. and above lifting capacity being used on construction sites or in a construction process, will need to be certified by an accredited crane operator testing organization.
Mobile crane training and certification courses can be provided to become a crane operator. Our two to three-day crane training courses will help crane operators pass the required written test. All of our trainers are knowledgeable and experienced crane operators. Operators must pass a core exam and a specialty exam.
